Tony Mahn,
Office Volunteer After more than 40 years as a producer in the News and Public Affairs Division of the PBS flagship station WNET/13 in New York City, I retired in 2009. I then became a volunteer at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in my Chelsea neighborhood, working in the food pantry distributing food to the needy and assisting the pastor in the church office. In my free time, I am active in the Taster's Guild of New York and the Culinary Historians of New York, belong to both Lincoln Center Theater and the Theatre Development Fund, and a local mystery book club. In 2012, I was honored by F&M's African-American Alumni Council as one of the five inaugural recipients of the Sydney N. Bridgett '51 Award for outstanding achievement in my chosen profession.
